# REPORT — v0.172.0 released and vouched (2026-11-03, attended)

**Plain words first.** A new box no longer logs „investigate the loss" for a storage grant it simply never had. A grant that existed and vanished still does. The operator vouched this agent at 10:18:10 CET, so new installs take it.

**Live** (felhom.eu `documentation/audits/release-2026-11-03/part3/`), on a fresh throwaway box, staged: a true first grant → INFO „granted", 0 R-190 lines; a loss → the ERROR and one degraded cycle. A plain first start on the appliance path reaches neither, because the installer pre-positions the grant; the ERROR was a BYO box's.
