gates / gates (push) Successful in 13m17s
Catalog sweep 2026-10-24: all 65 catalog apps on a fresh box (52 work, 10 with a problem, 0 broken); register 208 -> 217 (R-1269..R-1277 opened; notes on R-739, R-1267); STATUS + D46; map B1 re-checked; evidence
Every catalog app installed, used, backed up, removed keeping data, reinstalled, restored and removed with data on a
fresh box from the public ISO (demo-hp VM 9360, Tester4), endpoint-level. Worst: a reinstall's capture rewrites the
kept unit so its restore breaks the app (R-1269, P2), the restore still reports success (R-1270, P2), and „use my kept
data" loaded another box's future-dated database (R-1271, P2). Drill catalog fixes for the morning list (n8n usage
data; OpenGist 256M, proven by a cgroup probe). VM 9360 and LXC 9361 destroyed; hub host Tester4-aa9466 left for the
operator. REPORT-catalog-sweep-2026-10-24.md.

Code-Server — Guide — Felhom.eu ← Apps Code-Server VS Code in your browser - a full development setup from anywhere ● Running Up to date code-server.tester4.test Open ↗ What is it for? Write code from anywhere, on any device, in a browser Everything VS Code does - extensions, terminal, debugging Works over a slow connection too The same setup whichever machine you sit at Usable on a tablet and on an iPad First steps Open code-server.tester4.test in your browser Enter the access password Open the terminal (Ctrl+`) and install your tools Install extensions in the Extensions panel Before you start An x86 processor is needed for the best speed At least 1 GB of free RAM is recommended Upload and download files You can easily move files from your computer into code-server, and back. Open the „Explorer” view on the left. Right-click a folder and choose „Upload...”. You can also upload a file by dragging it from your computer into a folder in the „Explorer”. To download, right-click the file or folder and choose „Download...”. Get a Git repository You can get an existing project from its Git address in one step. Press F1, type Git: Clone, and choose the „Clone” command. Paste the address of the repository and press Enter. Choose the folder the project goes into, for example the workspace folder. When it is done, code-server asks whether to open the project. Use it as an app The browser catches many keyboard shortcuts, but installed as an app, code-server gets them. Open code-server.tester4.test in Chrome. Select the install icon in the address bar and confirm. From then on code-server starts in its own window, and the keyboard shortcuts work in it. On an iPad, add it to the home screen from the share menu in Safari. Set the look You can set the colours to your own taste. Press F1 and type Color Theme. Choose the „Color Theme” command. As you move with the arrow keys you see each theme at once; Enter picks it. Frequently asked questions Where are my files? code-server opens the workspace folder; the box set this up. What is in it stays on the box, after a restart too. Why does sudo not work? Here code-server runs without administrator (sudo) rights, so you cannot install system packages. This is how the box sets it up. Why is an extension missing? code-server does not use Microsoft's extension store but Open VSX. Some closed extensions, for example Live Share, are not available here. How do I change the password? On the dashboard, on code-server's „Settings” tab, you can change the access password. I typed the password wrong a few times and it does not let me in. What happened? code-server allows two tries a minute, plus twelve more an hour. Wait a little and try again with the right password. Documentation Official documentation ↗
