Import Hungarian recipe sites without fuss - one at a time or in bulk, into Mealie and Tandoor
What is it for?
- Import recipes from 6 Hungarian sites: mindmegette.hu, streetkitchen.hu, nosalty.hu, sobors.hu, kiskegyed.hu and gastrohobbi.hu - ingredients, steps, pictures and tags are picked out for you
- Bulk import: paste several addresses at once, either reviewing each recipe or letting it run on its own
- Edit before importing - structured ingredients (amount, unit, food, note), changes to the steps, and the tags
- Mealie and Tandoor Recipes at the same time - pick one, or import into both at once
- For a site it does not know, it reads schema.org JSON-LD instead (recipeIngredient, recipeInstructions, keywords)
First steps
- Open rimport.DOMAIN in your browser
- Go to the Settings page and enter the Mealie and/or Tandoor address and API key (Mealie: Profile -> API Tokens; Tandoor: Settings -> API Browser -> Auth Token)
- Set a user name and password to keep it to yourself
- Paste a recipe address on the import page, select Process, then select Import once you have checked it
Before you start
- Mealie and/or Tandoor Recipes installed and reachable on the network
- An API key created in the target app (Mealie and/or Tandoor)
