internal/upwatch: exact per-container counters from the Docker Engine API, per-app judging (upload >= max(5 Mbit/s,
25% of the line) for 15 min; CPU >= max(150%, 50% x cores) for 30 min), explainers qBittorrent / Transmission / Plex,
app_unexplained_upload / app_unexplained_cpu + _cleared (hub 0.169.0). The off-site push is sampled once a second
for the line (a lower bound). qBittorrent limit = 50% of the line, the household's limit always wins. 20 red-proofs.
Spike + design: felhom.eu audits/SPIKE-upload-watch-2026-10-23.md, architecture/08 section 9. Not released.
internal/privpolicy checks the RENDERED compose (privileged, cap_add, devices, host namespaces, security_opt,
sysctls, volumes_from, build/include/extends, env_file/config files outside the stack dir, aliasing named volumes,
binds outside the box's data roots, the Docker socket, propagation, ${VAR} in a privileged key) against an
allow-list compiled into the controller (one entry: homepage's read-only socket). Asked before every compose
write: the 15-minute sync, the guarded update/ladder step, the install, both settings changes, both restores
(before the stop). A refusal writes nothing, keeps the app on its last good compose, raises the operator-only
event app_definition_refused once per definition and puts one line on the app page. The sync never copies a
template named like a controller infra stack. Structural guard TestAllowList_IsWiredIntoEveryComposeWriter.

R-1111 reserveAttempt is the one limiter body (share password, escrow re-auth, dashboard sign-in). R-1112
family.json holds fingerprints; old files are converted at load. R-1113 the household's pass reuses its
family session. R-1109 the samba compose carries the smb.conf hash. R-1110 TestNoBareDrivePathToPathHelpers.
R-1114 shared_scripts.py resolves the felhom.eu sibling from a worktree. Each red-proved.

Tier-2 and the one-copy notice ask the host agent (POST /disks/same-disk, agent 0.157.0): different +
proven -> made and counted; same disk -> not made (D1); unknown (VM, hidden USB serial) -> made, not
counted, the row says why (D2); a NAS never counts and no longer hides the notice (R-1075). An older
agent keeps the st_dev rule, logged once. D4: a data-folder or media app on a box with no drive is
refused in words with a link to the drives page (R-1068's raw-error half). MinAgent 0.157.0.

-> no synthesised run. Two tests, both red-proved. v0.306.0 (R-570) was built but never delivered; 0.307.0 carries it.

The hub may ask the running controller for a CLOSED list of actions,
carried in the report ACK (operator_actions) and answered on the next
report (operator_action_results): offsite_backup_now, abandon_stop,
abandon_extend (1-30 days), run_job (fill-watch, offsite-integrity,
offsite-proof, disk-health-check). Unknown action/job/argument -> refused,
nothing called. Once per id (in memory; every action is safe to repeat).
- internal/report/opactions.go: the executor; results re-sent until the
hub stops listing the id.
- scheduler.RunNow: refuses unknown / already-running jobs; OnDemand(ctx)
makes an operator's offsite-integrity run even when not due.
- ExtendAbandon never shortens the countdown and refuses in the hub phase;
StopAbandon reports failure when the hub cancel failed (it said success).
- Report ACK read cap 4 KiB -> 64 KiB (an ACK over the cap dropped every
field in it).

Decision 192 (D8, option C). After a failed off-site database replay whose
rollback worked, but where the snapshot's definition was written or a named
volume was replaced, the app is no longer started on the mixed state:
the live definition is written back, the database service stopped, and the
app held (HoldReasonRestoreMixed) for support. The sentence (hu+en) says the
app needs help and no longer claims the data is back as it was. The operator
gets a backup_run_failures mail (leg restore-hold-mixed).
The plain case (no version change, no volume replaced) keeps today's
behaviour (TestR379_ScenarioA). Red-proofed: r893_mixed_restore_test.go.

Slice 1 — the no-manifest fallback RestoreApp no longer starts the WHOLE stack
at the current definition before the replay (a newer app could migrate the
restored data underneath it). New order: resolve DB services from the live
compose -> stop -> volumes -> DB-only start (StartStackServices, the same
helper the unit restore uses, R-47) -> replay -> full start -> health wait.
A dump with no identifiable DB service is refused before any mutation (same
gate and message as the unit and off-site paths). A failed volume leg skips
the replay. restoreDockerVolumes now goes through the existing
volumeReplayFrom seam (nil in production) so the order is testable without
Docker.
Slice 2 — a unit restore whose volume leg failed no longer calls the
importer. Everything else on that failure path is unchanged: dataErr is
returned as "completed with data errors", the unit's definition is written
and the app is fully started.
No loader change, no new delete step. Red-proofs in felhom.eu
documentation/audits/design-build-2026-10-06/B/ (red-slice1-fallback-order.txt,

Every night leg (DB dump, volume dump, recovery-unit capture, Tier-2 mirror) now leaves alone an app
whose app.yaml pin (pinned_images) differs from its running record (installed_images) - the state a
failed update leaves behind. A hold lifted by hand (--clear-restore-hold + restart) no longer lets the
capture write the just-failed definition over the good unit. Unknown (no pin, no record, a service not
observed) never skips. The log says it per leg; the backups page shows one amber line, hu + en
(backup.status.version_skip). Seam: backup.Manager.SetVersionCheck <- stacks.Manager.PinNotRunning.

The box divided used by the whole filesystem, so the 5 % reserved for root made a full disk read ~5 points low
(61.8 of 68.7 GB = 90 % where df said 95 %) and the fill alarms fire late. One function, DFUsedPercent, now serves
GetDiskUsage, readDiskUsage, the recovery-unit headroom projection and the deploy page's free percent. Tests use
numbers measured on demo-hp 9201 (/mnt/sys_drive: old 21.5 %, df 23 %); a source scan refuses a percent divided by
the whole filesystem (red-proved by putting the old line back). The label measured the docker data volume, not /.

POST /backup/offbox/clear (reveal-then-confirm) forgets the target and deletes ssh_key + known_hosts;
nothing on the target is touched. repo_password is kept whenever anything could depend on it (hub

The unit's data files are stamped with the versions that wrote them; the capture keeps the
definition the data belongs to; a restore never starts data under another version's
definition (unit restores refuse a mismatch; the off-site restore writes the snapshot's
definition); every tier's time is its data's; the conversion-copy release needs a dump on
the new engine. File-browser sync single-flight + no empty kept folder (R-695); the kept
view joins the folder's owning group, language switch resyncs (R-691); a restore-generated
login is not shown as the password (R-694). Red-proofs in

An install over an app's kept drive folder (appdata/<app> non-empty) asks the household:
"use my kept data" (a load from the newest copy of THIS drive's install, own unit or
second-drive mirror, then the template's after_load) or "start fresh" (the folder is
renamed into <drive>/kept/<app>/<date>/ with the removed app's unit; nothing deleted).
The install API answers 409 kept_data_choice until one is chosen; DeployStack refuses
too. New page Megorzott adatok / Kept data (/kept-data): Load / Look / Delete (typed
confirmation, the only deletion of kept data). FileBrowser gets a read-only source.
The drive-full warning names the kept folders. <drive>/kept is protected and outside
every backup leg.
R-690: the removed-app restore (R-487) never found a unit on a DATA drive — it asked
GetStackComposePath (true for every catalog app) and restored nextcloud with no env.
Now isStackDeployed; pinned with a production-shaped provider.
